Old carpet, poor communication.
The hotel has a great location and clean, spacious rooms.
The carpet in our room was stained and needed replacement. Staff communication was lacking, leading to a frustrating check-in experience.

Everything was great, incredible location close to shops and restaurants of Georgetown and the attractions in the Mall, accommodating staff. I had large room with nice design and tea or coffee plus the condition. Having a shower, a hair dryer, and fresh towels was a bonus.

The service was impeccable! the room was reasonably large and complete with a bathroom and coffee. - the breakfast was delicious and had a wide range of food. - the staff was extremely accommodating and incredibly kind, giving advice on things to do.

This hotel is lovely! Very friendly, helpful, attentive staff. Well appointed rooms. Perfect location for visiting Foggy Bottom/ gw area with easy access to Metro for going downtown. Valet parking, while pricey, was extremely convenient. Excellent value overall. We will definitely stay here again.
Carpeting/ decor in upstairs hallways is tired.

Fairly clean hotel, helpful and attentive team members with one staff member giving me his own metro card to use. Huge rooms with comfortable beds, central heating, a flat-screen TV and a safe box. Brilliant location, close to Farmer's Market. Good restaurant just a pleasant stroll away from the property.
